Description

The lives of three disparate modern women get a refreshing once over in 20 30 40 a romantic drama comedy from director Sylvia Chang. Angelica Lee Rene Liu and Sylvia Chang portray the three women of the respective ages twenty something thirty something and forty something and each had a hand in penning their characters story too. The conflicts vary but touch on very basic common themes i.e. identity belonging the quest for companionship and simply getting by in the mixed up modern world. The storytelling is refreshingly honest and the actresses imbue their characters with charming substantial life. 20 30 40 wont change any lives but its an engaging film with plenty to offer. SCREENED AWARDED AT Berlin International Film Festival.
